GAPS creates enduring partnerships with state and local stakeholders, including the Gary Community
School Corporation, to achieve common goals through collaboration and coordination.
In March 2020, GAPS became the lead school-community partner with the Gary Community School
Corporation through a Memorandum of Understanding. Along with its partners, GAPS coordinates
programs and initiatives that align with its mission, including planning, fundraising, internships, capital
improvements, sponsorship, scholarships, and employment opportunities.
GAPS continuously seeks to collaborate and expand its partnerships with agencies and individuals who
